In 1995 Vinifera began as a home and garden store in the small winery village of Jordan, Ontario, centrally nestled in the wine region of the Niagara Penninsula. After 10 years Vinifera naturally evolved into an event floral business, now known as Vinifera Floral Design specializing in wedding and event flowers. It is lead by the creative talents of former interior designer Carol Van Zanten who’s interior design experience combined with years of visual merchandising and floral training laid the foundation for Vinifera’s designs all while emphasising customer service and attention to detail.
VFD’s ever evolving designs are inspired by the regions’ vineyards and the beauty of the Niagara Penninsula which provide some of the best elements nature has to offer. VFD uses these elements to create their designs. Also being surrounded by local greenhouses, VFD’s relationship with the growers allows them to obtain the freshest product available all while keeping it local. Consultations are available by appointment only where a design plan and estimates will be given which includes concept to delivery and clean up.
